Our fish sauce is crafted using the first press method, resulting in a 50N product, which means it has the highest protein content (more fish equals more flavor). We then slowly ferment it for a year in wooden barrels, using a centuries-old technique passed down in Vietnam.

The brand was founded by Cuong Pham, who couldn't find a fish sauce that tasted like home when he moved to the US. Over a decade later, Red Boat remains a family-owned and operated business.
